The Factors Affecting People’s Intention In Indonesia Using Money Game-Based Applications

The development of internet technology is widely used during this current pandemic situation. Many people do various ways to earn money from home, such as building online business, providing services, and making investment. Nowadays, many scams happen in the name of investment. However, there is also investment that develops by relying on the result of member recruitment. The investors are paid based on the number of members they recruit. This research aims to find out the factors which affect people’s intention in using Money Game-based applications either internally or externally. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the people in Indonesia. The sampling technique is purposive sampling and the samples are 251 respondents. The research method used Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach with WarpPLS 8.0 software. The result shows that people’s intention can be significantly affected by attitude, awareness and knowledge, online trust, and e-WOM. Then, work satisfaction moderates the variables of attitude, PBC, and e-WOM to the intention
