The purpose of this investigation was to develop a model policy which explains and defines the rights of a faculty member over his original educational materials, the rights of the employing institution which may have assisted in the production of the materials, and the rights of students and other consumers over the utilization of these materials. Similar rights regarding materials created by employees in other professions, vocations, and the government were also discussed. Problems which are discussed in this investigation include: 1.
