An Analysis Of Indonesian-english Code Mixing Used On Deddy Corbuzier Podcast

Many public people employed this type of code mixing to inspire themselves and gain prestige. The goals of this study are to determine the form and function of Indonesian-English code mixing in social media podcasts. This research was conducted with a Descriptive Qualitative Method. The source of data in this research have taken from the video of Deddy Corbuzier podcast with the tittle “FIKI NAKI OH FIKI NAKI!!- Deddy Corbuzier Podcast.� The researcher collected the data by watched the video podcast. And then made a script to classified the form of code mixing. The findings showed that there are six forms of code mixing in Podcast, such as: code mixing of Word 19 data, code mixing of Phrase 46 data, code mixing of Hybrid 6 data, code mixing of Word Reduplication 3 data, code mixing of Idiom 0 data, code mixing of Clause 48 data. The researcher found some relevant purpose of code mixing on podcast. They are: need feeling motive, being more informative, making jokes, expressing self emotion
