The authors, under the aegis of the Veterinary Academy of France, studied how the scientific literature questions the relationship between the emergence of zoonosis or new human and animal infectious diseases and the loss of biodiversity observed under anthropogenic changes. This review describes how some pathogens can spill over from «wild reservoir » to domestic animal populations and human.
