Maria Pia Alberzoni, Innocent III and the Poor Catholics of the south of France. Within the framework of relationships between Innocent III and the religious movements which appeared at the end of the Xllth century, the Poor Catholics around Durand d’Osca occupy an important place, as they were the first group converted from Waldensianism, thank to the preaching of Bishop Diego d’Osma during a public debate which took place at Pamiers in September 1207.
