Assuming that the way how teachers understand the relation between the Mathematical knowledge and the student education, as well as the way how they act substantiated or not on this understanding are aspects that influence their teaching strategies, this current paper has as a main objective to investigate the interrelations between the teachers’ conceptions of mathematical knowledge manifested in the life of the students and its possible implications for teaching.
