ENTRE O DISCURSO E A PRÁTICA: APONTAMENTOS SOBRE GÊNERO E SEXUALIDADE EM ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS

The article weaves reflexions on the construction of a process to research-intervention that proposed to investigate the interwined of public school, gender and sexuality, The objective was to discuss the relations intra-school evidenced in the research dynamics, with emphasis on the methodological aspect, in the process of researching with schools. The divergences between the discourses and the practices adopted in schools were observed, especially in cities in the interior of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The observations present us with a gap between the discourse and practice in educational organizations and invite us to expand the concepts the role of the school in terms of gender and sexuality issues. The procedures used were lectures, participant observations, conversations with managers and teachers. The analysis of the research process with young people and schools brought several questions and the understanding that intra-school relationships are crossed by practices and knowledge marked by the strong presence of machismo and heteronormativity. The observations presented us with a gap between discourse and practice in educational organizations and invite us to expand the conceptions of the role of the school with regard to issues of gender and sexuality. Thus, the analysis of the context investigated, the understanding, the challenges and the difficulties, it is proposed studies with the involved subjects, later, so that it favors the change of the context with practices and knowledge that respect the diversity.O artigo tece reflexões sobre a construção de um processo de uma pesquisa-intervenção que propôs investigar o entrelaçamento entre escola pública, gênero e sexualidade. O objetivo foi discutir as relações intraescolares evidenciadas na dinâmica da pesquisa, com ênfase no aspecto metodológico, no processo de pesquisar com as escolas. Verificou-se as divergências entre os discursos e as práticas adotadas nas escolas, especialmente, em cidades do interior do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. As observações nos apresentam uma lacuna entre o discurso e prática nas organizações educativas e nos convidam a ampliar as concepções do papel da escola no que tange às questões de gênero e sexualidade. Os procedimentos utilizados foram palestras, observações participantes, conversas com gestores e professores. A análise do processo de pesquisar com jovens e as escolas trouxe diversos questionamentos e a compreensão de que as relações intra escolares são atravessadas por práticas e saberes marcadas pela forte presença do machismo e da heteronormatividade. As observações nos apresentaram uma lacuna entre o discurso e prática nas organizações educativas e nos convidam a ampliar as concepções do papel da escola no que tange às questões de gênero e sexualidade. Assim, a análise do contexto investigado, a compreensão, os desafios e as dificuldades, propõe-se estudos com os sujeitos envolvidos, posteriormente, para que se favoreça a mudança do contexto com práticas e saberes que respeitem a diversidade
