ETNOGRAFIA NA EDUCAÇÃO: CONTRIBUIÇÕES METODOLÓGICAS NA COMPREENSÃO DA REALIDADE EDUCACIONAL

This work aims to present a dialogue between Education and the methodology of anthropological investigation, contributing to the understanding of sociocultural diversity, which is increasingly visible in educational processes. Through a survey of the literature on ethnography and the experiences of participant observations in schools in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, we seek to present some points of discussion on the importance of the ethnographic method to understand how the school interprets diversity as a process of formation and learning. The Anthropology has a fundamental role in this dialogue with Education when it proposes to debate otherness in the context of social dynamics. Therefore, ethnography as an anthropological research methodology constitutes a fundamental tool for teachers and managers, who intend the meanings constructed by groups in specific interactional contexts.Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar um diálogo entre a Educação e a metodologia de investigação antropológica, contribuindo para compreensão da diversidade sociocultural, que está cada vez mais visível nos processos educativos. Através de um levantamento da literatura sobre a etnografia e das experiências de observações participantes em Escolas da Região Metropolitana do Recife, buscar-se apresentar alguns pontos de discussão sobre a importância do método etnográfico para entender como a escola interpreta a diversidade como processo de formação e aprendizagem. A Antropologia tem um papel fundamental nesse diálogo com a Educação quando propõe debater as alteridades no contexto da dinâmica social. Diante disso, a etnografia como metodologia de pesquisa antropológica constitui uma ferramenta fundamental para docentes e gestores, que pretendem os significados construídos pelos grupos em contextos interacionais específicos
