Pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kementerian Agama Kantor Kota Bandung

Maintaining employee performance within an organization is very important in efforts to achieve predetermined goals. Among the many important factors that affect employee performance, one of them is Employee Engagement (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2004). Today, not a few organizations still pay less attention to Employee Engagement as an important part of maintaining employee performance. Lack of enthusiasm when working, delayed work and often leave work at work time is a picture of the impact of lack of attention Employee Engagement, so that in the end it will affect the performance of employees who decline (Seijts & Crim, 2006). This study aims to describe and explain the effect of Employee Engagement on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive verification method using a quantitative approach. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were all employees working at the Ministry of Religion in Bandung City Office with a total of 80 employees and the sample used in this study used the Non Probability Sampling technique by Saturated Sampling. The data that has been collected is then processed using data analysis methods. Data processing in this study was assisted with the Statistical Product Service Solution (SPSS) version 20. Testing instruments in this study used a validity test and a reliability test. Data analysis methods used in this study are multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing (t test and f test). The results of this study indicate that multiple linear regression analysis yields a value of Y = 6,023 + 1,012X1 + 0.806X2 + 1,347X3. Based on these values show that (1) Partially vigor has a positive effect on employee performance seen from the positive β vigor value of 1,012. (2) Partially dedication has a positive effect on employee performance seen from the positive β dedication value of 0.806. (3) Partially absorption has a positive effect on employee performance seen from the positive β absorption value of 1,347. (4) Simultaneously the three dimensions of employee engagement significantly influence employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination shown on the rsqure value is 0.676 or 67.6%, this shows that 67.6% of the contribution of the influence of employee engagement variables on employee performance variables, while the remaining 32.4% is the contribution of influence outside this study. Menjaga kinerja pegawai di dalam sebuah organisasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam upaya untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Diantara banyaknya faktor penting yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, salah satunya adalah Employee Engagement (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2004). Dewasa ini tidak sedikit organisasi yang masih kurang memperhatikan Employee Engagement sebagai bagian penting untuk menjaga kinerja pegawai. Kurang semangat ketika bekerja, tertundanya pekerjaan dan sering meninggalkan pekerjaan di waktu kerja merupakan gambaran dari dampak kurang diperhatikannya Employee Engagement, sehingga pada akhirnya nanti berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai yang menurun (Seijts & Crim, 2006). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pengaruh Employee Engagement (Keterikatan Pegawai) terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif verifikatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sukunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai yang bekerja di Kementerian Agama Kantor Kota Bandung dengan jumlah 80 orang pegawai dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling dengan cara Sampling Jenuh. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode analisis data. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini dibantu dengan program Statistical Product Service Solution (SPSS) versi 20. Pengujian instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis korelasi, analisis koefisien determinasi dan pengujian hipotesis (Uji t dan Uji f). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa analisis regresi linier berganda menghasilkan nilai Y = 6.023 + 1.012X1 + 0.806X2 + 1.347X3. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut menunjukan bahwa (1) Secara parsial vigor berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dilihat dari nilai β vigor positif sebesar 1.012. (2) Secara parsial dedication berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dilihat dari nilai β dedication positif sebesar 0.806. (3) Secara parsial absorption berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dilihat dari nilai β absorption positif sebesar 1.347.. (4) Secara simultan ketiga dimensi employee engagement berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000
