The purpose of this study describes the impact of SSB marketing on the nutritional behaviors of children aged 2-5 years old, particularly within immigrant families. This study took place within the independently owned grocers located in four health disparate cities: Detroit, Warren, Hamtramck, and Dearborn (DWHD). This study aimed to 1) understand the landscape of SSBs’ price, placement, and promotion to families of young children in grocery stores and 2) determine strategies to support reduced SSB consumption by young children.
