The purpose of my thesis is to explore what has been written about promoting inclusion with people who have intellectual disabilities and who are living in supported housing units. The method used in this thesis is a descriptive literature review and its aim was to answer questions about promoting inclusion. A total of 6 articles were used from 3 different databases and in addition to these 6 articles, information was also collected from Finlex Data Bank, which offers up-to-date legislative and judicial information. The results of this thesis show that there is plenty of nationwide information about inclusion among people with intellectual disabilities.
