Interventi di mobilità sostenibile nei centri urbani: lettura e misura degli effetti in 6 casi studio

The paper proposes the reading and comparison of the technical solutions adopted by some Italian cities during the decade 2000-2010, aimed at increasing the livability by promoting sustainable means of transport and/or limiting traffic car. The aim is determining the success or failure of the interventions, by measuring their effects. For this purpose some indicators have been identified in order to quantify the effects of technical solutions on improving the quality of the environment (eg, % of PM10 reduction), on increasing of soft mobility (eg, n° of users of public transport, motorization rate) and on the redevelopment of urban areas (eg. Mq of pedestrian areas, trends in property values)
