Geomembranes have been used frequently in the last years for sanitary landfill lining; HDPE and EPDM sheets are two among the most widespread used. These geomembranes has been tested to evaluate the mechanical behaviour, the resistance to ageing and aggressive agents, the watertightness and the dimensional stability in order to determine their characteristics and capabilities of use
