The D(He-3,p)He-4 cross section has been measured at E = 4.2 to 13.8 keV using the LUNA accelerator facility installed in the Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS). The experimental setup and the interpretation of results in terms of electron screening potential are described. In the same experiment an estimate of the observed stopping power of the He-3 ions in D-2 target has been obtained and it turned out to be in good agreement with the standard compilation
