In the paper a FEM analysis is considered in order to obtain suitable suggestions and indications about the design of a new type of PM DC brushless motor. The results allow a comparison between the proposed configuration and a traditional griffes structure by evaluating some integral parameters. These parameters will give suitable indications about the structures efficiency
