A procedure to obtain class-AB Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTA) from conventional class-A cells is presented. Application to a wide swing CMOS OTA is described. The results of simulations, based on a commercial process, are reported to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method and to illustrate its advantages and limitations
