In this thesis, we present a differences between men and women as the lead workers in terms of the use of specific coping strategies with regard to personality characteristics. In the theoretical part, we analysed the topic of the specific requirements managers need to meet and the associated stressors, as well as differences in their perception and coping with regard to gender and personality were discussed. The empirical part analysed the differences in the use of coping strategies between men and women. Probands (of sample size 2127, men N = 1343, women N = 784) completed the Stress Management Questionnaire and the Multifactor Personality Profile.
