Bacground: Occupational rehabilitation seeks to facilitate the return of people who have been in long-term sick leave back into work, and workplace visits (WPV) has been proposed as an instrument within this process. The purpose of this prospective longitudinal study was to increase knowledge about participants who attend WPV by studying a specific case at Hernes Institutt. Methods: 102 patients, of which 45 underwent WPV, reported socio-demographic characteristics and work-related psychological variables. Work-status was assessed after 12-months.
