Nowadays, different technologies, such as waterflooding, gas flooding, in-situ combustion and other technologies are implemented for improving oil recovery. Despite the fact that waterflooding is the most common method for pressure maintenance purposes and increasing oil production, utilizing this method, most of the oil remains unrecovered. This research is a simulation study aimed at improving oil recovery in a Kazakhstani field by implementing waterflooding and polymer flooding methods based on the data acquired from available literature.
