This bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of family policies on income inequality between men and women. The thesis aims to evaluate this influence, which is investigated by a comparative analysis of three Nordic countries - Norway, Sweden and Finland. Family policies can play an important role in creating an appropriate labor market environment, especially for women. The main tools it uses in this direction are maternity/paternity/parental leave and its features and the provision of preschool care for children.
