El presente artículo tiene como propósito revisar el uso del término ‘Sodoma’ en los escritos del filósofo Filón de Alejandría. Como resultado, se documentan al menos dos formas en las cuales ‘Sodoma’ adquiere sentido en los textos filónicos; por un lado, se registra un uso cercano a los motivos báquicos, por el otro, se define a los sodomitas como pederastas. En ambos casos, la preocupación fundamental de Filón reside en adaptar la moralidad sexual judía a las prescripciones legales dentro del ámbito de la cultura grecorromana.The purpose of this article is to review the use of the term ‘Sodom’ in the Alexandrian writings.
