Lyrical poetictestaments (some remarks on the poem My Testament by Juliusz Słowacki)

Considering contemporary knowledoge oi the subject this article is supplementary and corrective. Its cognitive aim is to attempt to interpret selected texts and define the genre. Lyrical testaments were mostly written in Poland in the I9th century, following the publication of My Testament by Juliusz Słowacki, but the most significant works were created later, in the 20th century. That is why the essay contains mainly interpretations of the genre based on the works of Miron Białoszewski, Zbigniew Herbert, Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, Antonii Słonimski and Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz
