The failure of treated slopes around the world, especially in China, is occurring at a noteworthy rate, resulting in an urgent requirement for post evaluation of the treated slopes; however, there is no mature technique established for post evaluation. By using a real loess slope treated by slope cutting in Shaanxi Province as the prototype, indoor geotechnical tests and model tests were performed to reveal the rainwater infiltration characteristics and pressure-varying characteristics inside the slope, the results of which were used to conduct a post evaluation of the slope in situ.
