Cette thèse porte sur la propriété foncière en Afrique subsaharienne en s’attachant à traiter la globalité des 29 pays de cette région. Ces travaux proposent une exploration conceptuelle d’un objet de droit que les États subsahariens ont pris pour totem d’identification à la puissance souveraine revendiquée à leur institution : la propriété foncière. La propriété foncière de cette aire géographique déterminée par sa grande diversité d’influences normatives et la prégnance des modes de régulation sociale majoritairement étrangers au phénomène juridique, est entrée dans l’ordre juridique sans vraiment rentrer dans l’ordre.
