Determination of natural and anthropogenic radionuclides in the soil of Dvor community

Tlo je medij u kojem se radionuklidi prirodnog i antropogenog podrijetla najduže zadržavaju. Radom je obuhvaćena analiza radionuklida 238U, 40K, 137Cs i 134Cs u tlu na području općine Dvor. Rasponi koncentracija radionuklida su bili: 9-72 Bq/kg za 238U, 65-823 Bq/kg za 40K, te 3-80 Bq/kg za 137Cs (n=61). Sve izmjerene vrijednosti koncentracije 134Cs bile su ispod granice detekcije metode (<1 Bq/kg). Radom su utvrđeni i osnovni agrokemijski parametri tla na području općine Dvor. Usporedbom dobivenih rezultata, može se zaključiti kako je 238U bio u statistički značajnoj pozitivnoj slaboj korelaciji sa sadržajem praha, u jakoj negativnoj korelaciji sa sadržajem pijeska, slaboj negativnoj korelaciji sa biljci pristupačnim fosforom te jakoj negativnoj korelaciji sa pH. 40K je bio u statistički značajnoj pozitivnoj vrlo jakoj korelaciji sa 238U, negativnoj srednje jakoj korelaciji sa udjelom pijeska te negativnoj slaboj korelaciji sa pH. 137Cs je imao statistički značajnu slabu korelaciju sa sadržajem praha.Soil is the medium in which radionuclides of natural and anthropogenic origin persist the longest. The work includes the analysis of radionuclides 238U, 40K, 137Cs and 134Cs in the soil in the area of the municipality of Dvor. The ranges of radionuclide concentrations were: 9-72 Bq/kg for 238U, 65-823 Bq/kg for 40K and 3-80 Bq/kg for 137Cs (n=61). All measured 134Cs concentration values were below the detection limit of the method (< 1 Bq/kg). This work also determined the basic agrochemical parameters of the soil in the area of the municipality of Dvor. By comparing the obtained results, it can be concluded that 238U has a significant weak positive correlation with silt content, a strong negative correlation with sand content, a weak negative correlation with plant available phosphorus and a strong negative correlation with pH. 40K exhibited a significant very strong positive correlation with 238U, a medium strong negative correlation with sand content, and a weak negative correlation with pH. 137Cs exhibited a significant weak correlation with silt content
