Currently, bio-based insulating building materials are designed with the goal of reducing energy and non-renewable resource consumption. Once their multiphysical properties are characterized at the material scale, it is necessary to study their behavior at the wall andbuilding scale. The experimental and numerical study at the wall scale is performed in a controlled environment. The test wall in bio-sourced materials is implemented as a partition wall of a bi-climatic device, which allows to simulate indoor and outdoor climates. These climates correspond to French and Tunisian summer and mid-season climates. The numerical simulations are performed with the WUFI Pro 6.5 software.
