(A) HepG3 cells were dosed with 7 mM DHA and exposed for 24, 48, and 72 h. Changes in cell cycle phases were observed using PI. (B) After 48 h of exposure, the cell population in G1 and G2/M increased while S-phase cells decreased. (C) Cell cycle arrest was confirmed by cumulative increases in cyclin B1, cyclin D1, and p21 starting at 24 h.</p
