The recently reorganized classification of Mantodea has largely overcome past homoplasy problems, although many relationships among higher taxa remain ambiguous. We sequenced the mitochondrial genomes and three nuclear gene sequences of 23 mantid species, supported by published data from 53 mantises, to present familial phylogenomics of Mantodea. </p
