In this study, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA)-ciprofloxacin and GMA-ampicillin were successfully synthesized as antibacterial dental monomers. The antibacterial activity of resin composites containing 0–5 wt% GMA-ciprofloxacin and GMA-ampicillin was evaluated by using direct contact tests (DCTs) on the cured resins against Streptococcus mutans. After 72 h, the 5 wt% GMA-ciprofloxacin monomer with resin composite showed the highest lethality against Streptococcus mutans.
