This article is dedicated to 4 pieces for violin, cello and piano From the Jewish folklore written by Zlata Tkaci. The cyclic composition is based on Jewish folk songs and dances from the collection of M. Beregovsky: Bejgele, Sar, Gas-nign, Lomir zix iberbetn. The author analyzes how the interpretation of musical expressive means which are being characteristic of Klezmer music (melody, rhythm, specific modes, polyphonic techniques, imitation of folk instruments) is transformed into individual composer’s concept, preserving the spirit of folklore sources. This problematics is researched for the first time in the national musicology
