International audienceAbstract: Magnetic resonance imaging allows an accurate calculation of the left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular volumes. Additionally, it makes possible to assess myocardial perfusion after gadolinium chelate injection. Late after the injection, the presence of a myocardial hyper-enhancement can be visualized. The present study has used the 17 segment standardized nomenclature for tomographic imaging of the heart as recommended for all cardiac imaging modalities. Sixty nine patients were studied after a revascularised myocardial infarction. All patients had Timi grade 3 flow in the infarct-related artery after therapy.
