PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP KONSUMEN ATAS PEMBULATAN HARGA JUAL DALAM TRANSAKSI JUAL BELI BAHAN BAKAR MINYAK (BBM)

Based on the facts that occur in Indonesian society itself, the community seems to be made apathetic to the actions of gas station operators who clearly violate many consumer rights. A refueling station is a place where motor vehicles can get fuel. In Indonesia, the Refueling Station is known by the name of the gas station (short for Public Refueling Station). In the case of the buying and selling process, often the business actors are dishonest and commit fraud or fraud to consumers. Among these frauds is about rounding prices in the transaction of buying and selling Fuel Oil (BBM). The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of the legal protection of consumers for rounding the selling price in the transaction of buying and selling fuel oil at the gas station and to find out the legal relationship between business actors and gas station consumers and the form of accountability of gas stations in the event of violations of consumer rights. The research methods used are normative juridical research with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. After the author conducted the research can be delivered the results of the study showed that the legal protection of consumers for rounding the selling price in the transaction of buying and selling fuel at the gas station has been strictly regulated in the consumer protection law, in fact in ensuring the implementation of the legal protection of consumers required the cooperation of all stakeholders be it government, consumer protection agencies/agencies, business actors and consumers themselves. The legal relationship between business actors and gas station consumers concluded that there is a buying and selling relationship that each has rights and obligations that must be considered
