This paper focuses on the asserted \u2018boundlessness\u2019 of cyberspace in order to examine how and to what extent jurisdiction, in its various meaning and forms (jurisdiction to prescribe, to adjudicate and to execute), over activities taking place in the cyberspace may be asserted and even exercised, based on traditional jurisdictional links and also on new trends. The paper also examines confl icts of law in civilian (mainly tort laws and laws on the protection of rights of the personality as well as intellectual property) and criminal matters.
