This paper introduced a new class of operators called (A-n)-potent operator on a complex Hilbert space . An operator is called (A-n)-potent operator if where is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. Some basic properties of such operators were also investigated; the relationship between (A-n)-potent operators and some kinds of operators was also established
