Kajian Informasi Pariwisata Di Kabupaten Karanganyar Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografi

Karanganyar Regency is one of the tourist attraction areas under the slopes and foot of Mount Lawu. Karanganyar Regency is famous for its tourism potential, there are several types of tourism, both natural, artificial tourism, religious tourism, and historical tourism. The system known as the Geographic Information System (GIS) or "Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system that can be used to provide information and make it easier for readers to find out tourist attractions in Karanganyar Regency. The objectives to be achieved in this research are: ( 1) Knowing the distribution of tourism objects in Karanganyar Regency, and (2) Identifying potential objects in Karanganyar Regency. The data collection method that will be used is by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection uses observation and documentation and secondary data collection uses literature study. This descriptive method is done by describing the existence of tourist objects. The analytical method used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis and spatial analysis (spatial). The distribution of tourist places in Karanganyar Regency is widely found in Tawangmangu District. The results of research conducted on the distribution of tourist attractions in Karanganyar Regency are not only in one sub-district but are spread throughout all districts. This study concludes that Karanganyar Regency has many tourist destinations, especially natural tourism because the location of Karanganyar Regency is on the slopes of Mount Lawu. Karanganyar Regency is an option for tourists who travel to the city of Surakarta. Leading destinations that are widely known to the public are Grojogan Sewu, Sukuh Temple, Cetho Temple, and De Tjolomadoe. This study concludes that the most potential tourism objects in Karanganyar Regency are 10 tourism objects. The leading classifications are Grojogan Sewu, Cetho Temple, Sukuh Temple, and Sondokoro Agrotourism
