The aim of this study is to assess the state-of-the-art situation of mechanical compressors with thermal compressor systems in combined cooling systems and their ability to provide the required cooling effects with lower energy consumption than traditional cooling systems. The integrated systems have various advantages such as a broad temperature range, low energy consumption, and more flexibility in operating conditions.
