A series of pyrazolopyrimidine derivs. was prepd., and their cyclo-oxygenase inhibitory activity was screened. It was found that these compds. demonstrated antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory activity. Among the synthetic compd., I revealed interesting COX-2 activity and selectivity
