Visual Texts in the Bulgarian Lyrics

The visuality as a characteristic of the artistic expression is known from the history of literature presented in various forms from ancient times to nowadays. In the submitted work an interesting literary discourse followed by some Bulgarian poets is analysed. Poetical works of authors from different generations illustrating different artistic styles are interpretated. In the visual discourse taxonomy the poetics of works involved in the study and the problem of visual poetry boundaries are defined. First of all the particular feature differentiating it from the concrete lyrics which is created in many national literary works is discussed. As a result of the ideas analysed here about the visual lyrics in the Bulgarian literature a theoretical system aiming at eliciting the basic characteristics of the presented artistic phenomenon and to outline its role in the literary process is proposed. To achieve this the artistic approaches used in the literary texts with visual discourse are explored.Wizualizacja jako przejaw wyrazu artystycznego pojawia się w różnych formach w historii literatury od czasów starożytnych aż po dzień dzisiejszy. Temu właśnie specyficznemu dyskursowi literackiemu, wykorzystywanemu w twórczości bułgarskich poetów, poświęcone są rozważania w niniejszym artykule. Interpretowane są utwory poetyckie autorów, reprezentujących różne pokolenia twórców, którzy są przedstawicielami różnorodnych stylów artystycznych. W typologii dyskursu wizualnego analizuje się poetykę przykładowych utworów i wyjaśnia się problem granicy poezji figuratywnej oraz jej odmienności w stosunku do liryki konkretnej w rozmaitych literaturach narodowych. Wizualizacja liryki bułgarskiej została ukazana na tle systematyki teoretycznej, mającej na celu ustalenie podstawowych cech badanego zjawiska i jego miejsca w procesie literackim.
