The problem of the evaluation of the Power Quality of railway networks is presented, focusing on the specific characteristics of DC railway networks, dominated by the characteristic and non-characteristic harmonics of the rectifier substations. Reference is made to the measurement data of the pantograph voltage and current taken on the Italian network; the results are then the aggregate statistical description by means of histograms and Fourier spectra
