Although African-American students face concerns which are difficult to handle alone, many do not seek help. These concerns, which maybe personal, educational, financial and/or, environmental in nature, may affect the academic performance and attrition rates of this population, if they are not addressed. This study was designed to determine whom the African-American, full-time, undergraduate population at Marquette University seeks as help sources when faced with personal, educational, financial and, environmental stressors.
