[EN] This work is divided into three chapters. The aim of Chapter 1 is to introduce some basic tools that will be used throughout the rest of the dissertation, in order to make it as self-contained as possible. In Chapter 2, an elementary overview of the main features of the Riemann zeta function is presented. In Chapter 3, we introduce the more general concept of zeta function associated with a differential operator, showing that it can be used as a summation method for divergent series.
