[EN] This paper focuses on the possible benefits of interaction and cooperative learning in the foreign language acquisition process. In this research, the participants were 24 students enrolled in the fifth grade of Primary School in the Basque Country. Participants took part in a pedagogical intervention aiming at improving students’ learning engagement and anxiety as well as the quantity and quality of the contributions done in the foreign language classroom. Furthermore, it aims to examine the effects of working cooperatively through interaction.
