DISTRIBUTION: Iran; Transcaucasia (U.S. S.R.); S. Turkmenia; Afghanistan; N. Pakistan. COMMENT: Vorontsov et al., 1979, Zool. Zh., 58(8): 1213-1224, considered baluchi, hotsoni, mystax, and urartensis distinct species and included mustersi in baluchi. Corbet, 1978:89, included all of the above forms in bailwardi.
