Friedrich Dürrenmatt discussed the validity of laws and procedures that governed the Western society. In his dramas, he upset the meaning of rule that shapes the procedural pattern or the traditional boundaries of legal reasoning, without any risk to destroy their formal aspect. Dürrenmatt argued that the law is an invention similarly as his literature since the law is a theoretical fiction that you can believe or not believe.
