This corn leafroller is distributed around the world in the tropics. It occurs in many Pacific islands, but not in Hawaii. It was recorded in Guam by Fullaway in 1911. We found young corn plants commonly attacked by the larvae of this moth everywhere in Guam. They roll the tip of the leaf for a hiding place or protection while feeding within.
