PST 2009 XIIIth International Workshop on Polarized Sources, Targets & Polarimetry

he International Workshop on Polarized Sources, Targets & Polarimetry, which is sponsored by the International Spin Physics Committee, has been hosted for more than 20 years, regularly circulating between the USA, Europe and Japan. Although dedicated Meetings exist for some of the fields covered, the Workshop is meant to give a general, but comprehensive view of the technology involved in the polarization experiments and applications, encouraging discussions and exchange of informations between the different fields. To this aim the program will foresee round-table discussions on the basic limitations of the various polarization techniques and possible paths for future progress. Visibility will be given to new ideas and proposals. The topics of the Workshop will include: - Polarized Electron Sources - Polarized Proton and Deuterium Sources - Polarized Internal Targets - Polarized 3He Ion Sources and Targets - Polarimetry (e, p, d) at Low and High Energy - Polarized antiprotons - Polarized Solid Target
