Monoclonal antibodies were used to determine the concentration of serum Ig and the number of lymphocytes in different lymphoid organs of sea bass. Age-related and seasonal changes of serum Ig concentration were detected. Preliminary data from two-year-old specimens showed that hyperoxygenation (12 ppm/L oxygen) resulted in a two-fold increase of serum Ig, compared with controls (7 ppm/L), and increased number of lymphocytes in the lymphoid tissues
