Sphaerophoria serpilli Rondani, 1857 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1857: 111 (key), 115 (description). TYPE LOCALITY: “ Parmae [Parma (Italy)]”. TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, holotype (MZUF: Box 4): Sphaerophoria Lep. Serv. / serpilli Rnd. / 177 / = Sphaerophoria rueppelli Wied., det. P. Goeldlin. CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Sphaerophoria rueppelli (Wiedemann, 1830) (Peck 1988: 45).
