ПРОЕКТНО-КОНСТРУКТОРСЬКА КОМПЕТЕНТНІСТЬ МАЙБУТНІХ ІНЖЕНЕРІВ: СТРУКТУРА І ПРОБЛЕМИ ФОРМУВАННЯ

The essence of the project and design competence has been revealed, its main components are characterized. Conditions of introducing a competence-based approach in training engineers have been determined. Specific features of training engineers are described. The essence, main principles and the central of problem of educational technologies are explicated. Defining goals leads to the introduction of a strict educational technology. It has been proved that the goal- setting technology is characterized by a higher instrumental capacity, as educational aims are formulated through its results manifested in learners’ activities. A connection of an educational technology with general methodology, aims and content of the teaching process is also underlined. Educational technology is regarded as a means of realizing a certain educational paradigm, concentrated manifestation of collective mastery. The main principles of educational technologies, such as diagnostic goal formation and result orientation, efficiency, possibility of correction, i.e. operative feedback, consistently oriented at clearly defined goals are considered. It is proved that due to those characteristics an educational technology is perceived as both a complex of activities and a mechanism of involving a personality into activities. Distinctions of modern approach to education in Ukraine are revealed. New requirements to training are described. Modern universities are considered as carriers of the European consciousness. The place and role of a higher educational institution in «university – student – employer» system is defined. Risks of noncritical acceptance of market ideology, understanding of education as a service rather than a social mission are revealed. The educational mechanisms of creation of conditions for self-realization of every citizen of Ukraine. Modern educational paradigm and directions for modernization of education in Kharkov Region are described on the basis of the outlined main tendencies in the educational sphere
