The study is devoted to the issue of socio-cultural adaptation of Indian students to the educational process in Ukrainian universities. The author identifies the adaptation to educational activity in a higher education institution, the adaptation to the conditions of life and study in the new country, the adaptation to a multinational team and conducts within the framework of the study the questionnaire, which results in finding difficulties for socio-cultural, socio-communicative and domestic adaptation and the conditions that must promote successful adaptation
